About This Exhibit
The “2TribesMeet” project is designed to give creatives from different mediums the opportunity to combine their efforts, to merge and create something new, unique and eclectic. The participating artists gain an opportunity to learn and appreciate their collaborators' craft.

The Concept
The concept came to me in 2000. The title of the series is from bringing the 2 sides of my social life together. In the 90s I spent a lot of my free time promoting & attending poetry slams or popup art shows. I started to think about a way to bring my 2 tribes together.
The idea is to cultivate the possibilities that collaboration can create.
